What's your name and where are you from?

Jay and I am from Kent.

Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Living with my partner, Lauren who I recently just bought my first house with. 28 years old and someone who enjoys watching Liverpool and just generally spending time with friends and family.

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

Since 20th April 2020.

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

When I first heard about it, I seriously thought it was too good to be true. I mean how can anyone really beat the bookies unless by pure luck? I saw loads of reviews of Matched Betting online and after reading a few I decided to take the plunge after being Furloughed only 3 weeks after starting a new job. I was concerned about the upcoming house purchase and wanted to make some extra money.

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting?

I have been betting since I was 18, nothing too major or heavy. Just mainly accas and odds bets here and there. Mostly I have bet on horses and football.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

I spent 1/2 days and many hours watching lots of the tutorial videos and making lots of notes before placing my first bet. I understood betting on the bookie side although I needed to understanding laying etc before doing so, something I feel a lot of people can rush into.

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

£350.

Can you tell us a bit about your Matched Betting journey so far?

I slowly worked my way through the sign up offers although as I had already been betting for a few years I missed out on the sign up offers from at least 6 big offers.

I never underestimate the small offers and little profits as they all add up!

I have done a few 2ups and extra places although not much luck with them yet although a few BOGS on the horses can write off any qualifying losses sometimes.

Made 1 big mistake that cost me £70 early on although it was mainly due to not concentrating as opposed to not understanding the offer.

How much money have you made so far?

Since 20th April until now (14th October) I have made between £2000-£2500. Some of this was a few low risk casino/bingo sites sign up offers.

Have you bought anything nice with your profits? Or are you saving up for something special?

Not yet bought anything nice although I would love to buy a previous car back that I sold before buying my first house which for anyone that knows their cars was a Nissan Silvia S15 Spec R.

Do your family and friends know you are Matched Betting and do they understand what it is?

My friends and family know that I do Matched Betting and they also now understand roughly how it works and think the money made is brilliant.

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

I just look at all my balances in all the accounts and compare each month. With this I work out that I currently earn about £400 a month.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your Matched Betting?

I check the days offers on my lunch break and then do some of the in-play weekly offers in the evening. Perhaps a few hours at weekends.

How have you found PA’s services so far? What aspects of the PA site do you like the most?

The services have been very good, the website is smooth and flows without issues. The oddsmatcher is brilliant. The forum should be everyone's best friend, after the tutorials of course!

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

Try the trial and I am sure it will convince you to sign up as a full-time member and start earning tax free money!

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Honestly, watch the tutorial videos and listen to members more experienced than me. I am seeing people asking what a lay bet is or asking about extra places whilst only being 2/3 weeks into Matched Betting. Please please please watch the videos, take your time, make notes, learn the basics and the money will flow.
