Writer/Researcher for Personal Brand

Location: Remote with travel to London and Nottingham

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Writer/Researcher to work closely with Sam Stoffel on building and expanding his personal brand. This role combines in-depth research, creative writing, strategic insight, and confident communication to create engaging, audience-focused content that resonates across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, podcasts, and video. You’ll be the primary content partner, helping craft scripts, prompts, social posts, and even unique podcast concepts that reveal insights about Sam’s personality and entrepreneurial journey.

The ideal candidate will have experience in personal branding, with an eye for trending topics and a keen ability to translate research into compelling, authentic content. You should be familiar with successful personal brands, including Alex Hormozi, Gary Vaynerchuk, Iman Gadzhi, and others who resonate with entrepreneurial audiences. You will bring insight into what works in the market and how to create content that feels true to Sam’s voice and values.

Key Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth research on trending topics, stories, and insights that resonate with an entrepreneurial and business-focused audience.
  • Analyze audience engagement and content performance across platforms, gathering insights to refine and improve future content.
  • Monitor other personal brands and pages to identify content trends, storytelling methods, and high-engagement topics, adapting findings to align with Sam’s unique brand identity and voice.
Content Creation & Scriptwriting:
  • Develop engaging scripts for video and podcast content, ensuring each piece captures Sam’s voice, personality, and expertise.
  • Create prompts, questions, and segment ideas for podcast episodes, including innovative ideas such as games or interactive segments to highlight personal stories and insights.
  • Write and edit social media content for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels, crafting posts that convey Sam’s perspectives in a relatable, impactful way.
Content Strategy & Planning:
  • Provide strategic content recommendations based on audience response, performance metrics, and competitive analysis, ensuring that Sam’s content consistently engages and grows his audience.
  • Suggest new content themes, storylines, and formats based on research and audience feedback to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Assist in planning content calendars to align posts, videos, and podcast episodes with brand goals, audience preferences, and seasonal trends.
Audience Engagement & Feedback Integration:
  • Track audience interactions and gather feedback from social channels and other platforms to understand what resonates best with followers.
  • Use engagement data to recommend content adjustments or new topics, helping to refine the brand’s voice and improve reach.
  • Experiment with different content types (e.g., quotes, story-driven posts, Q&As) and adapt based on feedback to deepen audience engagement.
Key Qualifications:
  • Deep Understanding of Personal Branding: Proven expertise in personal brand development, including knowledge of how successful personal brands grow and engage with audiences. You understand the balance of educational, motivational, and entertaining content, and are familiar with other successful entrepreneurial brands like Alex Hormozi, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Iman Gadzhi. Prior experience working with a personal brand—such as a YouTuber, social media influencer, or public figure—is a strong advantage.
  • Confident and Skilled Communicator: Ability to engage directly with Sam, asking insightful questions and confidently guiding conversations to uncover valuable, authentic insights. You’re comfortable initiating discussions to extract the “gold” within his thoughts and experiences, turning these insights into compelling content.
  • Research Skills: Strong research background with the ability to uncover relevant stories, case studies, and industry trends to inform compelling, authentic content.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to analyze content performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize engagement and brand growth.
  • Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social platforms, with experience writing optimized posts and monitoring engagement metrics.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Comfortable creating a variety of content formats, from scripts and social media posts to prompts and podcast ideas, and capable of adapting tone and style to fit the brand voice.
  • Analytical Mindset: Experience with content analytics and performance metrics to refine and optimize content strategy based on audience response.
  • Passion for Personal Growth: A strong interest in personal development, self-improvement, and entrepreneurship, with a drive to help create content that inspires others to achieve their potential.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work closely with Sam and his videography team to ensure content aligns with the brand vision and engages the audience.
