Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m married with 2 young children aged 2 and 3. I work part time at a college as a work placement officer. We have a dog, hamster, rabbit and a turtle!

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

I’ve been a member for a year now, last year I just missed out on the Cheltenham festival.

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

Times were tough, I was on maternity leave and just found out I had been made redundant. One night I searched how to make money online! It was one of the top searches. I had never heard of matched betting before. The next morning was a Saturday and I mentioned it to my husband that looked at me gone out and said try if it you want but be careful.

I had already got accounts with the bookies on the free trial so I just bit the bullet and paid my first monthly subscription. I made £54 that day.

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

I had bet a little before on big events such as the grand national and football etc.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

I watched the first videos and I won’t lie, I was so overwhelmed. The Profit Accumulator Facebook page helped me massively and I spent absolutely ages reading through the posts.

Other newbies were asking questions about the abbreviations etc so I learnt a lot from that. Andy’s morning post also caught my eye and I made it a morning routine to read that and it helped too.

After about a week of seeing for myself the bets settle and free bets being issues I started to understand more and more, I learnt really quickly and before long was moving on to reloads as well as working through the sign ups.

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

I put £200 into Smarkets which I had never heard of before and then had £100 to deposit into bookies.

Fast forward to today and I’ve lost track of how much I’ve made so far which is really annoying but I’ve had a little look back and what I’ve spent and bought along the way with the profits and it’s well above £16k. Which is mind blowing!

Have you bought anything nice with your profit? Or are you saving up for something special?

Since starting, I’ve bought a car, had a few little UK holidays, built a play area for my children with artificial grass, a trampoline, play house and other toys. It’s paid for birthday parties and presents, a new MacBook, shark handheld hoover, hen weekend away and most importantly for us if we are short at the end of the month I transfer some money over to help until payday.

Matched Betting has completely transformed mine and my children's life and we don’t go without anymore.

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?

My mum and dad know and some close friends. I love talking about it and have introduced a few friends to PA.

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

I wish I had tracked my profits to date but the truth is my time is limited and I just got into a routine that takes the less time. Each day I write out on paper the offers available or free bets I have and the QL’s and then the profit gained. At the top I pop my total I’ve made that day just for piece of mind really.

On a Monday each week I add up all the money that’s across bookies and exchanges and work out what I’ve made the previous week. I can see it increasing so I’m happy with that.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your offers?

I’d say truthfully I spend 1-3 hours per day, that’s spread out across the whole day and I usually have my laptop open and keep go back to it to check the extra place catcher or price boost thread etc.

Saturdays are the busiest for sure but it tends to be the day we are out all day! I get on as much as I can in the morning.

What kind of offers do you do to make money now?

The offers I do are bet and gets, price boosts which I usually like to underlay, extra places, horse refunds and I do casino too.

Best earners have been extra places and casino offers. But, the bet and gets and price boosts are so important in lowering qualifying losses and losses from casino offers. I would never even pass up a £2 free bet.

How have you found PA's services so far? What are your favourite features?

Profit Accumulator is amazing and so so helpful. I have contacted PA on Facebook messenger before for help and the response has been so helpful and quick. I used to like tracking the profits in the profit tracker but annoyingly I stopped!

I like the forums and the Facebook group is so helpful with admins constantly replying and helping people at all hours. If something had happened with a horse race or football match a post explaining what to do goes up straight away.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

It absolutely works, make sure to take your time to learn and take it slow.

It’s okay not to understand at the beginning because it all sort of falls into place as you go along.

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

Read through the Facebook group, see the comments from real people and what they have achieved...it was enough for me!

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Ask for help and support from admins and other users. It helps so much just to read through the daily post from Andy.

What advice and tips would you give to a PA member who’s just about to start doing reload offers?

Do the offers that you are comfortable with. Take time to learn the ones your not and ask for help.

Check, check and double check every bet you place.

We have been married for 20 years and have a 10 year old daughter. Kris used to work full-time managing a sales team, but wanted to spend more time with the family, so now works part-time delivering parcels for Amazon.

Ann home educates our daughter, along with being an Avon Rep and volunteering for a children’s charity. We are also both carers for Ann’s disabled parents.

Since June 2021 but we didn’t really start until August 2021, as we were on holiday for much of July.

We had seen it on Facebook, but weren’t too sure about it. Then one of Ann’s friends said that she did it and explained how it worked.

We thought it was worth doing the free trial to see how it worked, how complicated it was and how much time it would take up.

We pretty much just used to place bets on the big horse races - Grand National, Gold Cup, The Derby etc.. and that was about it.

Kris is a big sports fan and watches pretty much anything that is on!! Ann still has no clue about sports but does well with the betting.

It was tricky at first, understanding the maths behind it all, but after watching the training videos over and over and over!! it became second nature..

Don’t get me wrong, we still make little mistakes here and there, but that’s only natural, with the amount of bets we place.

£3891.82 - this is after taking out our initial bankroll and our annual diamond membership!!

We went to Lapland just before Christmas for a week and had an amazing time. We rented a house to ourselves in the middle of a forest and went to see Santa and his elves. Our daughter went to the Husky Park and played with the huskies and she saw the reindeers..it was amazing. This was paid for completely by some of our profits from matched betting.

Our family and friends are amazed by it and always ask how we are doing, how much we have now made and it is a real talking point when we get together.

You will see by the amount we have made, we record everything down to the penny! Even the 2p free spin wins go on there! I think we have nearly 100 completed pages on the profit tracker!

We tend to do around 1.5-2 hours per day. A bit in the morning, but mainly in the afternoon/early evening after work.

We do a bit more at weekends, as that is when most of the events take place and there is a better chance of making bigger profits.

We tend to do mainly bet and gets, bet clubs (although we have been gubbed by quite a few) and price boosts. I like Bet365 boosts, Sky boosts and Betfred Bet X Get X Free Bet.

We have tried a few Casino offers and won a decent amount on the signups, but we are a bit risk averse, so haven't really looked at the higher risk reloads.

The training videos are fab and the forum is like my bible for offers and price boosts every day.

We have recently started to use a few more of the advanced calculators, which amaze us and are such a big help when deciding which options to take.

Try the free trial. It’s such a brilliant opportunity to make a bit of easy money. You’ll see how easy it is and how much you can really make.

Take your time, don’t rush into doing every offer that is out there. Make sure that the ones you do, you do correctly and make the most money out of.

Watch the training videos over and over to ensure you understand the process.

Also, join the Facebook group, as there is so much help and support there for both established and new members.

Look for the ones that suit you. We have not even looked at 2-Ups or Extra Places yet, as we are more than happy with what we are getting from our current offers (profit guaranteed offers).

There is big money to be made on these, but make sure your bankroll can support your basic wins first.

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

I heard about matched betting through a budgeting Facebook group. I was looking for a side hustle. It initially sounded too good to be true (free money!?), so gave the free trial ago and was hooked.

I’d place a tenner on the Grand National but that’s about it.

To start with I found the videos really helpful. I remember my first bet took about an hour as I kept pausing, rewinding, writing it all down! Within a couple of days I’d got a hang of the basics though.

I’ve made nearly £2000 to date, it’s also changed my personal mindset to money. All those £1-£2 profits add up! Just £10 a day is £300 a month

Take your time, it’s a marathon not a sprint. Take every offer you can, no matter how small it all adds up.

I did too, do the free trial and see if it changes your mindset.

Watch the videos, then watch them again! Always check you have selected ‘against’ in the exchange too.

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who's just about to start doing reload offers?

Don’t panic if you get gubbed. I recently lost Paddy Power and was gutted. But I’m still easily making £300-£400 a month. I also try and bet over the required amount too if there’s a low QL. So if it’s a £10 qualifying bet, I’ll put £12-£15 on. It also works in your favour if you hit a BOG.

I’m Caroline and I’m from Dorset.

I married, grown up kids, work part-time but often make more money with matched betting and casino than I do in my ‘proper job’.

I’ve been a member since June 2018.

How long had you been doing matched betting before deciding to do casino offers?

Probably six months or so. I used to do the free spin offers with limited success, but looking back it was good practice for what was to come.

Were you nervous about starting casino offers?

I was extremely nervous when I opened that first slot. I didn’t really understand how it could possibly make money and was concerned that I’d lose my matched betting profits.

Six months after starting matched betting, I had made £3500 and so I very cautiously dipped my toe into casino. I remember thinking I’d done so well with matched betting that if I laid aside £200 purely for casino then if I lost the lot I’d at least have given it a try. I’ve never looked back.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn about casino offers?

The instructions on Profit Accumulator takes you through everything you need to know so I followed the instructions and was very pleasantly surprised.

How much profit have you made from casino offers so far?

I am very pleased to report I have just gone over the £30000 lifetime profit, but this is from both matched betting and casino offers. For most of the last three years I didn’t track my matched betting and casino separately. I knew I was making good profits and my bank kept growing and that was good enough for me.

Do you track your EV vs Profit, and if so do you have a results graph that you can share?

Believe it or not, I only decided to keep a graph on 23rd March 2021 as I was really curious to see how the EV/profit ratio was working for me. I can say that it has been an eye opener and if absolutely chuffed to bits with the result.

Since starting to track her casino profits separately, Caroline has consistently made about £400 EV per month (excluding March where she only began tracking from the 23rd), and has made a nice profit every single month! 

Have you bought anything nice with your profits?

I’ve had a couple of really nice holidays in Switzerland and lots of short breaks in the UK. I was furloughed through the pandemic so the extra income has been an absolute godsend and has given me great peace of mind to know that I can make extra money at home, easily and enjoyably.

Have you had many big wins, or has it been small wins adding up?

My biggest win was £600 but these are few and far between. Mostly it is the small wins that add up. They are by far the most important.

Do you have a favourite slot or casino game?

The higher the RTP the better, apart from Bloodsuckers which I really dislike these days!

Did you find it hard to overcome downswings, or have you always trusted the process?

My biggest downswing has been £90. I very rarely go above minimum spins although obviously it takes a little longer to complete the offers. This gives me consistent profits as I really couldn’t cope with the variance that the higher stakes bring. Believe you me, I trust in EV as my graph which I started on 23rd March 2021 proves.

Do you have any advice for making the transition from casino welcome offers to casino reload offers?

Take it slowly and steady. Don’t be tempted to rush offers. Do the ones you feel most comfortable with and build up from there.

Do you still do sports offers alongside casino offers? 

Yes, I do.

How much time do you think you spend doing sports and/or casino offers? When do you tend to do most of your offers?

I have to admit I spend lots of hours a week doing sports and casino offers. But I consider it to be my hobby. When I’m not physically doing offers I am often on the forum seeing what others are doing and learning from them. It has just become part of my life.

What would you say to people who think casino offers are just gambling? 

Definitely not. I understand why people think this and I didn’t understand it either. Expected value (EV) is certainly real as I can prove with my chart which I started on 23rd March 2021. As of today, exactly four months later, I have a profit of £2578.36 (EV £1785.35). I’m very happy with that. And of course, that’s just casino, and it doesn’t include my matched betting profits.

What advice would you give to someone first starting casino offers?

Read the forum on PA. Ask for help if you need it and start slowly with minimum spins on the recommended slots. Try out offers and share your experiences with others on the forum. There is so much help and support from the Admins, Moderators and other forum members you really cannot fail.

Caroline shares her top tips for making profits from casino offers!

Since graduating from University way back in 2005 I have always followed a traditional ‘career path’, working 9-5 shackled to a desk making money for other people! I was made redundant in March 2021.

A bit about me: Well…..I’m not married (yet) and have no kids (secretly they annoy me sssshhh).

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit but unfortunately, 99% of opportunities online are scams at worst or grossly over-inflated at best.

If I’m honest, it was the very first PA video I watched (by Sam) that gave me that gut feeling - that we all know too well - which told me instinctively that this was different. I can’t define a singular element that swayed me, but I suppose there was an honesty about the promo videos which made me want to find out more.

I would never have classed myself as a ‘gambler’, but yes, I had in the past placed the odd bet here and there and I understand how bookies operate and the basis of how odds work.

It’s VERY easy. There is a video/tutorial for everything. Anyone with zero knowledge can learn Matched Betting.

You need a constant bankroll tied up to be able to maximise Matched Betting – you can start with as little as 100 quid though.

Maybe one day I’ll take a lump out, but for now, I have a system whereby I withdraw enough each month to pay my mortgage.

My partner does, but she doesn’t ‘get it’ – no matter how many times I try to explain! Haha. No one else needs to know as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve tried various methods including tracking EVERYTHING via excel. Personally, I find that approach is neither efficient or sustainable. The profit tracker on PA is more than sufficient.

Now anytime between 9am – 2pm and then 6pm – 9pm. Recent redundancy makes this possible.  It’s not necessary to spend this much time.

I stay away from EP’s and 2Ups. My personal feeling is that unless you have a huge bankroll, they are not worth it short term. Long-term though they definitely are. (Others may disagree!)

I easily make 40-80 a day on reloads, email offers, free spins etc.

Love all of it – you couldn’t Matched Bet without it.

Nothing – if they do not trust my word, that means they do not matter to me.

Again - watch ALL the videos and use/learn the forum. PA provides everything you need.

At first glance, the numbers don’t add up. I found myself strategising how I would make XX a day/week via the various bet clubs. As you progress into reloads, you will find random offers regularly land via email, text, online 
account etc that you could not have predicted.
